The Halfway House prides itself on bringing its guests a fine
dining experience in a relaxed and informal setting.

Choose from one of our local real ales or a glass of wine
selected from our extensive wine list in front of our roaring
log fire.

Whether you would like the a la Carte menu, some Tapas or
just good old fashioned classics from the bar menu, the
choice is yours.

The standards within catering are always changing and with
people understanding food and service far better these days
it has become harder to fool them with culinary nonsense.
Our aim has been to keep the old country pub feel, but bring
in the standards the the public now expect.
Food that not only reminds you of the good ol' days of a well
filled belly (no nouvelle cuisine here!), but also tweaks the
interest of those die-hard foodies out there amongst you.
